Brief
Name generation and logo to brand HDC sustainability initiative. The aim was to educate the community about how they can contribute and enable access to further information and grants.
The brand needed to appeal to a local audience and include reference to home, community, business and lifestyle. It needed to be used across a range of applications, from the website and social media, to print including banners and leaflets.
Solution
‘Act Locally. Impact Globally’ creates a simple message about how the small things we do on a local level can have a larger environmental impact. The logo was designed to look like a stamp as a way of leaving your own personal mark and committing to the cause.
A set of icons were produced to refer to each of the sustainability sectors. These were used alongside illustrations featuring recognisable landmarks and buildings.
‘We worked with Lucy to design a new brand for us to help promote our work around sustainability and climate change. We’re absolutely thrilled with the results. Lucy went over and above to understand the brief and she’s given us an eye catching and distinct set of images that are just perfect.’
